Dr. Jeff Gelband, DC, DABCI

Dr. Jeff Gelband, DC, DABCI, is a Functional Medicine Physician at Aligned Modern Health with advanced training in internal disorders and systems-based care. His approach is guided by a commitment to listen deeply, connect clinical insights with lived experience, and help patients feel better as quickly and sustainably as possible.

With each patient, Dr. Gelband aims to uncover the root cause behind chronic symptoms—looking at the full picture of lab data, lifestyle, and individual history. He believes that healing starts with feeling heard and that effective care is both collaborative and empowering.

Dr. Gelband holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National University of Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northern Illinois University. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Internists and has completed over 300 hours of continuing education in functional medicine, advanced diagnostics, and clinical nutrition.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Gelband serves as a First Lieutenant in the Illinois Air National Guard. Since 2004, he has served in multiple roles—including deployments to Afghanistan—and is a certified CPR and TCCC trainer for fellow military personnel.
